Lymtech®
GAMMA IRRADIATED WIPES are processed using the COBALT-60 gamma irradiation method.
Cobalt-60 gamma irradiation has become the industry's method of choice because:
 | Its reliability is unmatched, stemming
from the extreme penetrating nature of gamma irradiation and the ease of
controlling the single irradiation process variable. |
 | There are no chemical residues on
products after irradiation. |
 | The effectiveness of the process is not
affected by the use of hermetically sealed packages, or by products
containing sealed cavities. |
 | Dose setting procedures are used to
determine sterilization cycles, no post-irradiation testing is required for
routine release; product can be shipped immediately after irradiation. |

Most of Lymtech® wipes can be gamma
irradiated. Some of the common grades are: C8, TJ, C30,
C1, C3E, C3, C1E, 7220, & 7225 |
|
All products shipped are
packaged in double sealed heavy mil poly to ensure product integrity. All
products have a gamma irradiation sticker to ensure proper dosage range.
All products are supplied
with a "CERTIFICATE OF PROCESSING" and "DOSIMETRY RECORD".
All products are back by
Lymtech® Quality Assurance Program and ISO-9002 procedures.
