SORBONT-HS is made from Dupont Sontara ®, a micro-level cleaning fabric by Dupont, the leader in non-woven technology. Dupont specifically engineered this fabric for cleanroom applications. SORBONT-HS is a cellulose and polyester blend non-woven fabric manufactured through hydroentangling technology.

Utilizing a proprietary patterning and formation process, the combination of cellulose and polyester provides a thicker, bulkier, three dimensional structure that is higher in sorbant capacity and rate. It is significantly lower is particles than other non-woven cleanroom wiper fabrics. The hydroentangling process used to make SORBONT-HS requires no binders, chemical, adhesives or finishes which ensures low extractable levels and good solvent resistance.
